Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information we collect when you use BeatsCard, why we collect it, and how we look after it.
Last updated: 27 August 2026
1. Who this policy applies to
BeatsCard is a digital business card service operated by Beats Cracker Creative Studio. This policy applies to the BeatsCard website, the customer dashboard, and the public card pages published on our card domain.
By creating an account, subscribing or submitting your business details, you agree to the handling of information described here.
2. Information we collect
Registration and account information
When you sign up we collect the details needed to create and identify your account: your name, email address, phone number and WhatsApp number. If you set a password for the customer dashboard, we store it only as a one-way cryptographic hash - we never store or have access to your actual password.
Business information you enter
You provide the content of your card. This typically includes your business name, owner name, business category, tagline, description, services or products, address, city, map link, website and social media links.
Contact details shown on your card
The phone number, WhatsApp number and email address you choose to display are published on your card so that your customers can contact you. You decide which of these appear.
Images and uploaded content
We store the logo, cover image and gallery images you upload. Uploaded images are validated and re-encoded before they are stored, and the copies used on your published card are served from our card domain.
Payment and subscription information
Subscription payments are processed by our payment provider. We store the records needed to run your subscription and issue your invoice: the payment and subscription reference identifiers returned by the provider, the plan, the amount, the currency, the payment method type, the status and the date.
We do not collect or store your card number, CVV, UPI PIN, netbanking credentials or any other payment credential. Those are entered directly with the payment provider and never reach our servers.
Website usage and technical information
Like most websites, our servers record standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and timestamps. We use a session cookie to keep you signed in to the dashboard, and we record limited rate limiting data to protect forms and logins from abuse.
3. How we use your information
- To create, generate, publish and update your BeatsCard.
- To operate your account and the customer dashboard.
- To process your subscription and send your invoice and payment confirmation.
- To contact you about your card, your subscription or a support request.
- To send service messages, such as a reminder if your setup is incomplete.
- To keep the service secure, prevent misuse and diagnose technical problems.
- To meet our record-keeping obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for third-party advertising.
4. Your card is public by design
A BeatsCard is meant to be shared. Everything you put on your card - your business name, contact details, services, images and links - is published at your card address and can be viewed by anyone who has the link, and may be indexed by search engines.
Please only add information you are happy to make public. Information kept in your account but not shown on the card, such as your login email, is not published.
5. Payment processing by a third party
Subscription payments are collected through Razorpay, our payment provider. When you pay, your payment details are handled by Razorpay under their own terms and privacy policy. We receive only the confirmation and reference information described above.
6. Service providers we rely on
We use a small number of providers to run the service, including our web hosting provider, our email provider for transactional messages such as invoices and support replies, and the payment provider named above. Information is shared with them only to the extent needed to deliver the service.
We may also disclose information where we are required to do so by law, or where it is necessary to protect our rights, our customers or the security of the service.
7. Data security
We take reasonable technical measures to protect your information. These include serving the site over HTTPS, storing passwords only as hashes, verifying payment and webhook signatures, validating uploads, and restricting access to your data in the dashboard so that you can only ever see and edit your own business.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe your account has been accessed without your permission, please contact us immediately.
8. Data retention
We keep your account and business information for as long as your account exists, so that your card can stay live and you can continue to edit it.
If your subscription ends, your card stops being served but your data is not deleted automatically, so that you can resume later without re-entering everything. Payment and invoice records are kept for the period required for accounting and legal purposes. You can ask us to delete your information as described below.
9. Your rights and requests
You can ask us to:
- tell you what information we hold about you;
- correct information that is wrong or out of date;
- delete your account and the content on your card;
- stop sending you non-essential messages.
Most changes to your card can be made yourself from the customer dashboard at any time. For anything else, contact us using the details at the end of this page. We may need to verify that the request comes from the account holder before we act on it.
Please note that some records, such as invoices and payment records, may need to be retained even after deletion of your card, where the law requires it.
10. Children
BeatsCard is a business service and is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service develops. The revised version will be published on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continuing to use BeatsCard after a change means you accept the updated policy.
